I have, on countless occasions, advocated for those of us who shop online to use Amazon Smile. For those of you who don't know, Amazon has a parallel site called Amazon Smile where they donate a small percentage of the transaction to a not-for-profit of your choice. Amazon Smile is identical in every way and whenever I shop, I have never seen any difference. You get the same offers, the same free shipping options, the same payment options and the same return policies. As you all noticed, we recently enacted advertising on the bulletin board to help offset some of the costs of running the forum and the club. Utilizing Amazon Smile does the same thing, albeit in much smaller amounts. On my account page at Amazon Smile, it shows that I have generated $33 to date. I am sure there is more, but it may take a while for the totals to tally.

Not that I am enthralled with the increasing habit of merchandisers ramping up for "Black Friday," I do realize that our club relies upon purchases to fund operations. We (mostly) all shop on Amazon, so why not redirect to Amazon Smile and benefit the club? We are all going to undertake some form of holiday shopping these next few weeks, not to mention making online purchases for the rest of the year. Lets help out by making Antique Caterpillar Machinery Owners Club your favorite not-for-profit and shop through the Amazon Smile portal.
