Apparently I am not smart enough and have exhausted my resources, not to mention patience!
Can someone cross reference the "Hyatt 7788" bearing that was the pilot bearing for a CAT TEN?
I need to order a replacement.
Thanks!

No, I just yanked out the bearings on 2 separate flywheels and these Hyatt's popped out.
Didn't think to go through the CAT book to look from that direction.

I pulled this out of ytmag, "The correct numbers are--Bearing = 9040k and the race is 9039k"
Only difference seems to be my race isn't split.

You can get the bearing race from McMaster Carr online sold as drill bushings. I used these on my Ten and Fifteen. Just measure the old one. The bearings I orderd using the Hyatt number from Applied Technoligies in PGH.Hope this helps,[email protected]

Are the bearings the same for the 10 & 15? I have the two part bearing numbers for the 15 as listed by Hyatt.

Yes, the FIFTEEN would be the same part number.

From my 1942 New Departure and Hyatt bearings Tractor Catalog #A-205
the clutch pilot is listed as a #00531 roller assy and #31262 race and that's for a 1933-35 Model 15

Couldn't find anything on interchange for those numbers either.

Could still chase it by the Cat part # if someone can come up with it.

Ten clutch pilot bearing, 1B3755, is one each of 1B3756 and 1B3757. I can cross the 1B3756 to a Hyatt 95416 and a Rollway 140516, no luck on the 1B3757. 1B3756 was also used on the steering assy. on some U series D4 etc. (8 per tractor), and may be available.

The 1B3756 was available two years ago. I replaced a couple of them. General Gear has a cross reference for the 1B3757.
