never seen a diesel thirty-five for sale locally before. Poor photo but looks original and could be a Queensland machine originally -interested Lance or it's even old enough for Wombat😊

How does the price of Aus20k compare to US prices - would be about 15k US I guess?

Wombat and myself were discussing 35's Today , maybe You Prompted Him , I know of a Couple up Here , there is Probably others . I think Wombat said only 13 Came to Australia . We have a Diesel 40 to Rebuild "One day " but no, I am not interested , Price is well up but that I suppose depends on its overall actual Condition and Location . LJ

Inter674,
the Peter Squire auction sale last November in SA featured a Diesel 35 - supposedly ran well sold for $7250. burcat15.

Thanks Lance

looks too good to be a Tassie machine - not enough destruction and rust as Ashcat pointed out and the tracks roller frame guards have not been cut up for patches.

And far too expensive based on the Squire sale and missing some bits too.

Will be interesting to see if it sells or lingers......

Eric,

I had a call last week about that tractor, was asked some questions about it, did my best to answer what they wanted to know.

One of my reliable sources has told me only between 12 and 15 Diesel 35 tractors were sold new in Australia, there were many more Diesel 40 tractors sold.

I already have a very tidy Diesel 35 in my collection, so this tractor is of no interest to me.

How are you coping with the cold winter blast from the south?

Wombat (The Mad Mouth From The south), also called many other names, by The Dragon Lady (unprintable)

Weather here in Taswegia is very wet and chilly - far too muddy to let the dog and the Cats out to play that's for sure. The Cats are all nicely tucked up in the shed for winter but one of them is quite distraught and lying in bits all over the shed floor - waiting for the weather warm up enough to start reassembly, painting etc.

BTW I'm heading to the Vic Alps soon to tear up the mountains with the boys in their massive 4wdrives. It makes me laugh to see them going hard at the tracks and hills with massive 37" wheels, diff locks, twin turbos, high octane fuel and all the gear that has to go with it.

Now if only I could drive a D2 to the Vic Alps or a D7 I could show them what traction is all about😊
