I have cleaned the fuel filter housing added new filters,,hand primer pumped the housing full, new tank and clean fuel.I havecranked the diesel engine with pony motor 10..12 minutes with governor control on and bleed the pumps and no fuel .There is a shutoff lever on the side of the pump when it is cranking ,the lever swings to the left,I assume in the shut off position, this also has the Woodward governor.
Can anyone help me out on this
Continuing on....Your picture was worth a thousand words,it was exactly the same as my set up,I assumed the transfer pump was faulty so i dismantled it and ordered all new seals and gaskets ,hand made the 2 special tools ,reassembled ,cranked the engine and bled ,started it up and it works perfectlyi,) would like to thank you for your input...Jim Legge.
Was kind of wondering what happened when I didn't get a response to that last post with picture.
Glad to hear it worked out and your operational again after it had a 30 year rest.
