Here’s a “using” seat I made up for my 922 loader

My “wrap a present” upholstering skills leave something to be desired!

I will wager that it beats the heck out of several flakes of hay wrapped in a gunny sack:biggrin1:

great work. that looks better than what I got set up on my loader. I got a cheap seat at an auction sale and just welded the mount in place your looks way more comfortable. keep it up

While I like your seat and it likely is fairly comfortable, I have a bit of an appreciation for my boat seat I am using as my seat.

One of the main reasons I like my boat seat is that the back folds down.

Why does the folding matter?

Birds.

Birds like to hang out on my tractor and land on the seat leaving gifts. With a fold down seat, I don't have to worry about sitting on those gifts.

Also, it leaves some protection against the weather for any weather events that get between the canopy and the seat.

I have to say it is comfortable. Really overkill for a machine I will only rarely sit on for more than a few minutes.

I’ll say in my defense that the old sofa cushions I rescued from the dumpster were that thickness to start with!
