I'm trying to either build a set or find a way to mount long forks on my machine. Anyone have any leads on where I can find used forks that are longer, or where to find the high carbon bar to make them myself? The prices for these new are astronomical, and trying to avoid going that route

6in channel steel, and some 1/4x2inch flat iron to put across the end, spaced out so you have to elevate the end of the channel to get the strap behind the curve of the exsisting fork. Cut a taper to the ends, to make them easier to pick pallets up.

Been there, done that.
