Picked up another project, 1927 2 Ton, have way to much to do already, but when you find one 6 miles from the house you shouldn't pass it up.
Sat in his garage for 18 years, sat in an airplane hanger for a number of year before that. The engine turns over 270 degree's, kind of puzzling, clutch is disconnected, valves are free. Already have a stash of parts lined up to buy from an acquaintance, will probably be looking for more. Bought this on for the wife, asked her what she wanted for anniversary

So close to home AND doubles as an anniversary gift??? Nice!👍

Looks like it has a lot of potential too, from what I can see of the grouser bars they barely look worn at all. If you need any new repro brass tags for it I still have a few left.

:frown:The grouser bars are deceiving, they look new, unfortunately the pins and bushings are so worn that somewhere in the past they removed 1 track shoe from each side to take up the slack, I have them, the riding surface of the track is also extremely worn to the point that is must have been almost unusable as the roller made jarring contact with each pin, I'll try and post a picture of that later, but nothing that some material, welding and time can't fix. I'll probably see you at Nowthen in a couple of weeks.

Neil, While nice, only trailer queens NEED to have belt pulleys. Working tractors can have real attachments. 😊😊

I beg to differ, there is nothing like a good Sixty on a saw mill

I do agree with that. Just giving my good friend Neil a friendly little jab back. I owe him a few.

Well, hopefully if Martin's side project works out, we'll have some excellent attachments (along with the belt pulley of course : ).
What I want to know is when we're going to see the maiden voyage of 1K1!
Since biggastractor's Seventy has a belt pulley, would the attachment fit a 14A or 36A? I see the small round cover on the back of some of those tractors so wondered if, even if not offered as such, a pto or pulley could actually be fitted without modification to the unit (controls most likely would need fabbing but that's nothing)

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
