first off.....are the head gaskets reusable on mine...s/n 7U23655....also.....I have this spray stuff...that's suppost help with stuck ring and to help recondition the top end....its a foam spray you put in through the sparkplug hole....let it sit for a bit....then turn the motor over a few times....let it sit some more....then start it.....do you think this would be a good idea
most of the D2 and D4 pony motor head gaskets are reusable---the foam is a good idea but after it soaks and you spin it over a bit you may want to check the compression and see if the rings are somewhat loose----also the valves

so....I put that foamy stuff in....and after fighting the pony...ALL DAY...(starter teardown and clean up)....it fired up and ran....like normal....was able to get the main engine started....do what I needed to do...and park her......next to the shop......im tired of fighting the pony.....more like the pony's carb.....ok......just the whole thing period lol...and.....I need another project....
