What are the three holes for that sit on the rear face of the D2/4 battery box - one large central hole and two outer off-set smaller holes?

is this where a light switch fits?

One like this perhaps

Hi Inter674 the top 3 holes are for the starter switch and bracket (both are avaliable form Florin Tractors) the lower bigger bottom hole is for the AMP meter and the smaller one is for the light switch if my memory serves me right.

Did you have the box made?

Believe the top 3 holes are for the light housing which shines the light down onto the switch and Ammeter.
