I have a D6 9U-Seriel #9U28590, with a hydraulic lift, manual angle, manual tilt blade. I would like to put a hydraulic tilt cylinder on one side. My local parts guy can't find one. Anyone have an idea on where I should look? The hydraulic system is Seriel #25C14447, Model 46, 1 valve, 66 gpm at 1600 rpm. I also need a plumbing diagram, as I have never done this before. I don't need to use the tilt while lowering or raising-hopefully this will simplify things.
Thanks for any assistance.

The #46 Hydraulic Control is not compatible with a tilt cylinder application. Being single valve and 60-70 gpm the flow is just to great and would require running up against the pressure relief valve if you throttle the flow down to about 10-15 gpm to have reasonable control of the tilt cylinder. A small belt driven pump would be more applicable.

On my 14a the tilt uses hydraulic from the steering hydraulic pump. It is plumbed in on the pressure side just before it goes into the steering control. It is just a Gresen valve mounted beside the seat. Works fine.

I don't see that as an option on the D6-9U. The pump is incorporated into the sump of the steering clutch control. The system is open circuit with internal passages.

A rear mounted auxiliary hydraulic unit might be the simplest way to get the circuit you need.....unless you already have a winch or CCU on it. Another possibility would be converting the generator to an auxiliary drive for a belt drive alternator and a small hydraulic pump.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

I can not find the specs on the two section steering clutch and brake booster pump. Do you know what gpm, pressure and where the pressure relief valve location is (if it has one) for the steering booster circuit?
