Has anyone added an oil filter to a CAT22? Can you share some description, instructions, and photos on what you did? Thanks, Ray

Ray, try this link to something I posted several years ago. I didn't do the installations, they were installed by previous owners.

I think you've already done up your engine right Ray? But if not, my theory was to tap three holes into the gallery that runs along the right side of the block. This is fed directly from the pump and then galleries run from it to the mains etc. Plug the center hole to block the flow and then add fittings that go to a full flow filter to the side holes. It's the same gallery that the oil pressure comes from that the other guys tee'd their bypass filters into.

Neil,
Yup, my motor is all rebuilt and married up to the transmixer. Shucks, wish I had thought to do that when it was all apart. Ray

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
