A big thanks to all the folks from Chapter One that hosted the Winter Convention in Kansas City. Bill Walter and his lovely wife hosted all of us Thursday nite and then Friday with some fantastic tours and Kansas City BBQ. We finished the day watching CAT movies and "shooting the breeze". Mike Pursell and his crew spent an enormous amount of time getting the everything ready fro Saturday. I'm guessing 35-40 tractors inside. From a 10 to a diesel 75, they were all there. Some new CAT machinery outside too. Lots of attendees. The weather cooperated. It was a great day. I had to get home and missed the banquet Sat evening. I hope someone will post some pictures soon.

Thanks to Chapter One for all their hard work!!

I'll second that. I was just there for today. Left home around 4:30 this morning and got home about 9:00 this evening 200 miles each way. The folks from Chapter One did an outstanding job. Here is a link the the pictures I took. Mostly tractor pictures. I'm sure someone will post better pictures, but this will give you an appetizer.

Jim D4 & 6 - Wonderful photos! Thanks for posting and giving all of us who couldn't go a peak at the equipment. Much of the equipment looks better than it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. Those paint jobs are beautiful! GWH

Great Pictures. I would like to see more of the side seat gas 35 if anyone took more detailed photos.

I arrived home late Sunday afternoon just ahead of a snowstorm with thunder and lightning. It was a great trip and a great show. A big thanks to all of chapter 1 people for the show and hospitality. Also, a big thank you to the people at Damon Pursell Construction. There were 53 pieces of equipment under roof and several outside.
George, Jenny, and I will get the pictures that I have in hand posted on the Bulletin Board. Glen, if you will get Kevin's pictures to us, we will post them as well.
Tom, the 35 Side Seat with a grader in tow, is a permanent display at Damon Pursell Construction. Give Mike a call at 816-589-0205. I am sure he would shoot some pics for you. I didn't get many pics outside, so missed the 35 completely.
I observed some very wide grins on the faces of Fred Stitt and his crew as they moved the tractors into position on Friday and as they moved some of them out late on Saturday. It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it! 😊
Thanks again to Chapter 1 for a great show and a very pleasant weekend.

Regards,
Lee

PS. I picked up a few of the "Best Show on Tracks" flyers and cards that Glen brought to Kansas City. I will put them in the office. If someone would send me some more, I will spread them around the Central US as I travel. Maybe 100 or so of each.
Send them to:

Thanks

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
