I saw them at the show. They were originally made quite a few years ago now, as one has been hanging in the shop a long time. It lets me know when to feel cold enough to turn on the heater. If you haven't seen one in person, they are very handsome and make wonderful gifts.

My two thermometers came in the mail yesterday. Dang, now I look out the window and get cold looking at the one out front. I really like the dual F and C scales. Now I know what the heck the downunders are talking about when they say they are cooking at 35 degrees. :eyebrows::eyebrows:

Roger,

I guess at the Show, I did not look at how far down in temperature they go but I am surprised that it did not bottom out with the kind of temperatures you see up there in iron mine country! Yes the two scales will help get us all on the same page temperature wise! The old conversion equation to get F into C of 9/5ths of something x something else pretty much always alluded me!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
