Ok so I was in contact with Mary at the club about decals for several machines I am currently restoring several of which are already complete. My question is who do I need to talk to about getting these decals being Mary has retired??? I have hac contact with Mary since once but is there a better source as i dont want to keep bugging her or am I dead in the water here? Thank you

The store in under re-construction at the moment.
Decals are a popular item, so there is a definite need to have them available. I am sure it would be worth the wait for them to adorn your completed machines.
Currently the only things available are memberships and donations to the club. Ticket purchases for the catered meal at the 2023 show at Santa Margarita, CA will be made possible soon we are told. Thank you for your patience and understanding! JM

So I'm gonna have to start all this process over again once it's all figured out then. Wonderful. I inquired about this like 4-5 months ago and supposedly people where looking into it long before it was closed down. Patience is kinda wearing thin. Seems like it coulda all been handled better to me

I ordered some in December and received them in the end of Jan. Maybe your order wasn’t able to be completed because of lack of available items. They are good quality.

I do not know what the time table is for being able to order decals from the "store" but a possibility in the meantime might be to direct those that need decals to the original supplier for ACMOC. The decal supplier is probably aware of the proper type and lettering they delivered to ACMOC. Just a suggestion but it could open up a whole can of worms. Maybe the order sheet for decals could be made available. Just some thoughts.

Thanks D4Jim: In past, a member could contact the office with the model machine/item needing decals and Mary would look to the supplier to verify proper decals presuming that person would look up the part # from the particular parts book and go from there. Office kept some in inventory and would reach out to complete some orders (I believe).
Myself and others have had great success with decal orders; my order only took a week because they were common decals identified by part number. JM

The original decals for the cats from probably the 1930s to when they switched to stick-on vinyl, about the mid 1960s were water slide decals. With a little work you can do them yourself, all you need is a cheap handheld roll along scanner, or camera, a laser jet printer and water slide decal paper, my opinion the old water slide decals look better than the modern ones, even better get someone to scan a set of decals, then we can share them and just print out what we need.

JM is correct. A limited number of common decals were in stock in the store, if you needed one of those, they were usually able to be supplied fairly quickly. The more uncommon ones had to be made and ordered from the supplier. I was told that the supplier was having difficulty getting materials and that was the reason for delays this fall. I hope we can have a solution for decals within this next month, and when we do I will make sure we get it posted here asap.

I am sorry for the circumstances, I definitely understand how frustrating it is. Just know we are working on it and there will be a solution.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
