For those who are intrested I am located in central NC and would like to start a chapter for Va, Nc. and Sc.
I think we need at least 12 members to sign up in order to start a chapter ?
Please contact me at: [email protected] or through this thread.
I will contact ACMOC for the official requirements for statring a chapter if there is enough intrest shown.
If a chapter is started I think a good name could be "The dirty Dozen" if in fact we become chapter 12.

Thanks,
Erik Christenbury

I may be interested in being part of the "Filthy Few" in fact I just came in from welding, and tomorrow will be sandblasting & painting. But seriously, That sounds like a good idea, I would like to see more Cat machinery at local shows, heck, I might even get started fixing up some of my treasures.

Chriscokid, you need a minimum of 5 ACMOC members to form a chapter. Send me a "petition" (i.e., letter) with 5 signatures of ACMOC members in your proposed area, and in the letter, request that the ACMOC board of directors recognize the chapter. Be sure to specify a geographic area. Good luck!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
