Chapter 15 put on a wonderful show with many machines, farming and construction equipment, working in the dirt!
It was on the warm side - nearing 100F, but that did not stop the show.
The hosts served a catered BBQ dinner, Tri-Tip, Chicken, Salad, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, Rolls and followed with bowl of Ice Cream! What an end to a wonderful day!
Attempt to post a series of 3 pictures - invite CONSTRUCTIVE comments. What are your observations and concerns?
Well, at least the pictures posted in a fashion - last shot should be the middle one that did not appear correctly.
Stay Safe everyone!

A staged shot, sure demonstrates the changes in Caterpillar since the 1950's. D2 is pretty small, D7E on left, D8R on the right. Pile of dirt was all done by the D2, hole was filled by the D7E.

The D2 does not have an umbrella to protect the "Breadler" from being roasted...LOL.
Thank you for the photos. JM
My Pleasure JM, hope everyone enjoys them. :-)
D2 does not have a ROPS - but I doubt it would hold up to the D8R's heavyweight blade!
The above shot shows the herculean effort to transport and have as operational exhibits of the Caterpillar Equipment this club is all about. Equipment from the Caterpillar Fifteen to the D8R, DW 10 & DW 20 were present and operational! Chapter 15 members put on a great demonstration and introduced sights and sounds that many had never experienced. Special THANK YOU each of you. Chapter 15 also had a booth displaying the banners and providing information to all that visited.
