A few Mahan Collection Cats, courtesy of Chapter 8 visit

Yesterday, Gary Mahan and his folks opened up his extensive truck and equipment collection to Chapter 8. The Mahan Collection consists of over 200 mostly Mack trucks and many pieces of equipment, many of which are Cats big and small. Several trucks are Cat powered, including the green Brockway. Mr. Bill and I made the drive and boy it was worth it! 

I'm 100% sure the 3T is one Bill and I looked at a few years back. It's in a better place now!

All I can think to say is WOW, that is an amazing collection.

That is from the USS New Jersey, now docked in Camden, NJ and open for tours as Battleship NJ. 120 ton and 68' long. The Navy had three of those from the ship stored near the Norfolk Yard and it was arranged to save them. One went back to Battleship NJ and the other to the Philadelphia Navy Yard. My friend was one of the escorts on some of those moves.

Wow is all I can say, thank you so much for sharing, very impressive collection. Love the old Mack's, a lumber yard in Santa Rosa, Ca used to have a fine collection of Macks as well, I believe it was Hitchings Lumber.
