nice job there I havent seen those sockets underneath the "C" frame before Im guessing they are for rippers ?

Yes they are rippers that swing on the c frame for ripping when backing up. Dad had them on the D4 and still have a set in the shed. I should hang some on it if I take it to show one day.

Maybe my vision is blurry this morning but in the very first photo, the paint shine and the background lighting make the Tractor look like a Plastic Model??????
Anyways, its coming along nicely from the photo's you posted a few months ago!
One question though, why didn't you install the solid idlers on that your donor tractor had on it?

Very nice. Spoke type large diameter front idler is correct for early s/n's.

Personally I prefer the look of spoke type idler. Although there are some advantages to the solid type they look like something off a donkey cart to me. Just my opinion....
