I have a 977H That needs a lot of work. I know I won't get the money I put into out of it, but at some point you have to know when to say when. I hate to scrap it, so what is my best option to re-coup some money other than scrapping it?

Hi, Joe.
I'd hate to see it go to the scrappers too. Much as I also hate to say this, possibly your best option short of the scrappers would be to either part it out yourself or to sell it to somebody who does parting out. At least that way, somebody would be geting some good out of it and some of it would live on for a bit longer.

The only other option that I can see would be a dedicated restorer who wanted a 977H to restore. You could try the for sale ads on this site, somebody may want it or know somebody who does.

Hope this helps.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Thanks Deas Plant. I have a lot of new parts. I had to have a machine shop build a new Battery box as mine was rusted so bad it was affecting the shifting also had them make a shift linkage with a bushing instead of the standard bearing. It's just a shame I can't afford to fix it up or have the time It's a fun machine to operate!
