I am sure someone will come along with the year but, MAN, I crave more details on this moving adventure. Did you tow it that far with the other loader? Pull the axles or some means to lessen the drag? I seen the trailer with the fuel barrels. Did it run and not move so you had steering. Just guessing, but did it take 3 long days carrying necessities of beans and wieners cooking on the exhaust manifold? I have to hand it to you Joey, you sure partake in some interesting adventures.

josh -- thansk, i figured it was a 1972 because of the low number.

old-iron-habit -- we drove the 966 loader for 30kms then gave up with being stuck all the time so we then towed it with a 621d case. the 966 had a very bad transmission (lots of slippage and won't spin the tires in mud or wet snow) and should have never been shipped north from the auction. it took 5 days to drive the loaders 330kms on a melting winter road andwe did.

more to come when i add a page to my website.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
