I need a little help here. Could our clutch be way out of adjustment if the handle will not lock in? It just goes back and forth, seems like the brake band works when we push on it but will not lock in when we pulll back. Was working then just started this. Can I adjust clutch through small cover or does the big one have to come off. We cannot find the service manual, It seems to be hiding from us. Thanks Don

You better check the bottom cluch lever if your small rods are oké before adj, the cluch and the oil cluch can be adjusted in place

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
