955 12A Traxcavator and Russell traction engine

This past weekend was the Rough & Tumble “Time of Harvest” event.

I had both the D2 and the 955 there for the festival.

I would usually spend some time in the digging area and then roam the R&T grounds on either of the Cats just to see what is going on with the rest of the show.

I met up with daughter Andrea and her Russell field locomotive during one of my trips around the show grounds and decided to pose the machines for a picture.

Tractions engines are a worthy hobby but I have to say dear old dad is looked down upon for not having one of these elite machines.

Sigh…

Break out you wallet if you want one of those. My friend owns the Goodesen that runs the saw mill along with other steam tractors they are big bucks,one day👍 we wanted to go but machines not ready
