G'Day from Australia. I've inherited a 951B that hasn't been run for over a decade. I managed to get it start it and it runs well. However, I need some advice please on what I should be looking for in regards to the transmission / drive system i.e Seals, leaking signs of torque converter problems or best thing to prep the transmission before moving the the 951B. All help greatly appreciated.
Ps. Have purchased a workshop manual and reading through it. I'm new to these machines.
check all the fluid levels are they milky etc. if so change em. if low top em off. note some fluid levels need to be checked when running.
one you know where it should be you could mark the dip stick to correlate where the "off" level would be.

instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
Hi, AlfaLSX.
Wott trainzkid88 said but I'd look at changing the filters too, regardless of whether or not you change any oils. Ten years izza LONG time for a filter to survive in good condition.
If my understanding is correct, the torque converters on the 951s are on the front of the transmission rather than on the back of the engine. There is a connection between the flywheel and the transmission with 4 rubber 'pucks', each with 2 bolts per side, MONGRELS of things to work on, especially if the engine and transmission are not PERFECTLY aligned, which would be the most likely cause if they need to be replaced - shims under the engine mounts to adjust.
It'z bin a while since I was around them but I seem to remember that they had a problem with over-heating so it might be an idea to thoroughly check the cooling system before trying to do any serious work with it.
Check for oil leaks on the front of the transmission, both ends of the engine, anywhere around the hydraulics and inboard and outboard of the sprockets. If it has a ripper fitted, check under the back of the steering clutch case for leaks there as that could indicate that the bottom of the case is cracked.

Before you run it, if you haven't already, I would suggest going through the drain plugs of the various components and draining off any accumulated moisture or sediment from the bottom of the oil before mixing it all up together and running it through pumps, bearings or gears.
Hi, D8Dude.
AlfaLSX did say in his first post that he had got it running and it runs well. That said though, if he lets it stand for a week or two before running it again, that would give it some time to settle down again and make it worth checking the drain plugs the way you say to see if there is any 'foreign moisture' in any of the compartments, including the fuel tank. This would be especially important if it was standing outside for all those years.

Hi, AlfaLSX.
If it'z not a rude 'kwestyun', what part of DowNunda do you 'infest'? There may be someone close to you who could help out. There are several active chapters DowNunda.

Hi, Busso20.
I'd have no objection provided he is somewhere with shooting distance of my travel intentions - small deviations acceptable - AND provided I DON'T hafta crawl under machines. My days of doing that are OVER.
