Do you have a picture of the shaft and hub?
How is the nut still on there when you have the hub removed??? Did the hub come off in pieces? Is that a chunk of the hub behind the nut? It almost looks like the hub got pulled off without removing the nut, removing a section of the hub in the process... [img]/media/kunena/emoticons/wacko.gif[/img]

Looks like he's attempting to remove the ring gear if those bearing hubs are off. I think that is a heavy washer under the nut.
The clutch pack is still together. The picture just happens to have the nut on it by chance with the washer that gets bent over when torqued down. I've rebuilt the clutch packs and ready to press them on but even using a scratch awl, I can't feel or see threads in the steering shaft or sprocket shaft. I'll dig deeper when I'm home. Thank you for responding
You use the threads that the nut is currently on to press it on.
