Hello all! I' my a newbie so if this posted incorrectly,  I apologize.  I'm looking at a 933f that has sat for several years without moving. Previous owner said he thought the final drive is out but the engine will fire right off. I'm looking to start it long enough to lift the bucket and rippers.  I need to know whether the clutches are dry or wet, and what  type fluids need be added.  Engine oilooks fine but the rear end is low and the auxiliary for the rippers is low. Looked everywhere for the data plate and with the loader down I believe it's covered. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Main engine has oil clutch (SAE 30) oil. Steering clutches are dry. Hydraulic control uses SAE 10W. Finals are SAE 90
Engine is the D311H, not the same as early D311.

I have finally found the serial number on the 933f. It is 42A4399. Can anyone tell me what year it is? I was told the final drive is out and was hoping someone could give me a pointer on what to look for. Thanks for any advice!

I have heard that final drive parts for the 933 are specific to the 933 are very hard to find. Before you buy this loader check on the parts. You might have to buy a parts machine to find the final drive parts.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
