Guys,
Will a 1.5 yd clamshell bucket from a older 933 directly fit on to a 955H?
The 933 clamshell is off the machine.
What is the best way to connect the clamshell hydraullics and lever? Any suggestions on where to pick-up these items? Am guessing there is an aftermarket kit that plumbs into the existing lines. Is there an auxiliary connector somewhere on the 955H?
I can't say about the cross fit of a 933 4 in 1 bucket fitting a 955, but the hydraulics for them (a 933) are run down the right hand side (sitting in the operators seat looking forward) lift frame as 2 steel tubes and terminate with blocks to bolt your hydraulic hoses to on the cross member that runs between the two lift arms. The control is a 3rd circuit that can also serve the rear ripper (if you have one), so instead of 2 hydraulic control levers to the right of the operator, there are 3. I have a 955 parts book that shows several different conversion parts groups to acomodate more than the 2 circuits you may currently have. 955s were also optioned with top clamps (grapples), side dump buckets, rear rippers, etc., all of which would require the changeover to 3 or 4 circuits. My book also shows the hard lines and additional piping and hoses to accomodate front mounted accessories.
