I have a 94A 922B wheel loader and every time I start it and want to go I have to take the high/low speed slector and to move it back a little to get it to engage into gear so it will move. After that everything is good and it works great. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim Gangle

Jim: This is normal and is a safety device. When the transmission oil pressure drops a hydraulic valve shifts the speed selector to neutral. This occurs everytime the engine is shut off and helps insure the machine is in neutral for the next start. On my 922B one has to jiggle the speed selector more than once to get it to engage, particularly in cold weather. And as you noted, once it's engaged it stays as long as the machine runs.
