Hi all       I have a Cat 8F2666 cylinder on my D47U  serial 7U25012.The cylinder is dripping and I was wondering if I have to tear it completely apart to remove the gland shims.I see they are all in there yet and I havent tried to remove them as yet.I was hoping they are in halves to remove them when the bolts holding the gland are removed. Let me know   Thank You

I have been successful tightening them up. I think I had to snip one or two off on a cylinder, rather than gut it. Sorry my memory isn't the best. JM

Thanks for the reply JM  That sounds like it would work, the shims are super thin.
