82J D4D Belly pan help

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for having me. This is my first time to post, so go easy on me. I recently purchased a 1974 D4D (82J4040) from a friend. The machine had been sitting for 3 or 4 years, but a hot set of batteries fired her right up. I decided earlier today to drop the belly pans so that I could give it a thorough cleaning. The front and middle pan came off with no problem, but the rear pan is being a BEAR!! I've removed the two rear bolts and the two front side bolts, but the front of this pan will not come down!! I've beat, pulled, pushed, wiggled, wiggled some more, and it refuses to cooperate. The rear of the pan is sitting on the ground, but the front has only come down about 3 inches. There is so much dirt and pine needles on top of the pan that I can't see what is holding it. I don't have a floor jack, and I don't want to get under there, not knowing what's going on with it. Any ideas?? What have I missed? Is there a trick to getting this rear pan off??? Thank you!!

We just recently took the belly pan off of our D2, we had to support the rear of it so the front would clear the bottom of the radiator and then we had to use a come along to the draw bar to pull it back because it was so full of dirt.... Our mid bolts had nuts buried in the dirt that I had to dig to get a wrench on, and that was the bracket that was keeping us from pulling it back by hand.

If the rear is down and the front is down three inches it would seem the rear section is hung up on crud. Floor jack is a must for removal and installation.

my rear belly plate on a 49J D4D has a set of hooks that link with the centre plate.
