Good Evening all. I have to pull the starter pinion.Looks like at least the governor has to come off first or does the entire injection pump need to come off to allow enough clearence to slide pinion out? Thanks in advance for the help MHG

You know the starting engine has to be raised up for the gear to clear & I think all I ever had to remove was the rear cover on the gov. housing but it,s still close.
