I have all the parts in the 9F6430 change over group picture but i was told i will need springs and check balls i was looking to see if any of you guys have the ihi444 transfer instructions

Some of the 9F6430 diagrams do not show the replacement relief valve ball and spring but they do mention replacement in the instructions. Personally if you already have a blocked filter bypass valve and it is know to be operational I wouldn't bother changing it.

Do you mean where the two freeze plug looking caps are in each filter base

Yes, one for each filter in the base.

What is the difference between the original bypass ball and spring and the replacement units. Both look the same, is the spring tension different?

I suspect there is some difference in the spring but I have never been able to find any specs.
