Since I have a little time I will give some back ground on the project, it is a wide gauge ten , I have saved parts to do this tractor for 30 years, engine has new 90 over pistons and rings , new old stock cam shaft , all nos timing gears and mag drive shaft, all new valves and valve train , nos transmission shafts and gears all new bearings ,new pinions in the final drives , steering clutchs we're all gone through and new bearings installed, I have all new parts to make the track frames and a nearly new set of tracks with new pins and bushings installed, should be as close to a new ten as anyone will get, will keep updating as I go.
Hiwide 15,
Well your Las post makes me feel better on the restoration on my 10. You can read up on mine by looking up my posts on PV1734. I hope to get mine back early this year, bit it will not be a new Cat ten, like it sounds like this one will be. Now we all want to know; if you get your ten done in 60 days, are you going to try to do a 60 in ten days. Of course after your last post, you can have 60 years to get parts for the ten day 60 project. LOL
