Just talked to another guy that had a really nice 435 converted and has sequencing valve set up on it was pulling it with a 850 deer
he said it was 15yd to 18yd heaped. Is a D8k with weight of the full cab and 300hp to much tractor for a 435. I never have never owned any cat brand cans yet but I had at one time 2 international s270 dolly scrapers they were nice full hydraulic's the apron's could chop the chunks right off 14 and 21 heaped with side boards maybe a bit more, wish I would have keep them.
I have a ripper pilot control inside the cab on my 8k just like the blade control up down jeft right and the factory valve bank still attatched on the rear.

Hi, Fiat41B.
I think you might find yourself very happy with that combination. I am pretty sure that the scrapers that RolyD8K is running behind his D8Ks in England are mostly 435s and I don't hear much complaining about them from him. Maybe from his opposition 'cos they're working TOO well. LOL.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Yeah I think roly has 463's
there just don't seam to be any of those around here currently and in a decent price range
there is some bron 463's 50,000 each ouch
I have a guy that might buy my ts18's hopefully all 6 then I will be hunting for some pull pans for the crawlers.
That would free up some green to fund the pull pan's
I was going to go and test out one of those d5b's today but the guy told me to wait for a better day said with the wet steering clutch just driving it around the lot they would not heat up and I would probably not enjoy it however if I was working one it would warm the oil and be fantastic. lol

The 435 Scraper is handy behind a D8H/K on tight work although a 463 will fill run and tip better because of the larger tyres and bowl shape/width, if you study up on the 435's the F series holds a bit more muck and runs bigger rubber, nothing wrong with cable control to run with although the thin back sheave (Pulley) bearings on the 463 are a bit like hens teeth.

I had a D8K/463 conversion for several years, pretty well matched pair. The 435 is probably on the small side for a K but if it's used occasionally not commercially it wouldn't matter.

Local gravel outfit pulled their 435 with a D7E if I remember correctly, surely a D8 would match up to it pretty nice.

The 435 is harder to load than a 463 even with a K series tractor, the hard bit with the H series tractors pulling a 463 more so with the early 235HP D/D tractors is turning in bad conditions, as the tractors lack a few ton of weight that the K's have, it seems odd that a bigger Scraper is easier to load and tip but that is what you will find.

Having the center edge lower helps considerably also.

The 435 is a F model A CAT 435F
What makes them so bad at loading and unloading my kind of work is usually in muddy and soft underfooting heavy clay then hard pan.
once down to the hard pan my ts18's twin engines our excellent and old but they are not worn out junk Terex's lol.
Belive it or not the ts18's load really nice by themselves they have full hydraulics and they are probably one of the best dumper's ever made lots of ground clearance big tall tires. I thought at one time converting one into a pull pan just because how well they load material. Any material

see one of my videos YOU TUBE (green weenies and haul trucks.)

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
