Hi
Will any transmission parts from a D7- 3t--or 4t--fit a D7-47a--manual transmission?
Are a D7- 3T--4T--internal engine parts compatable?
will the heads interchange?
thank you

Hi, Rollercoasterider.
About the only parts that will interchange between the 3T-4T transmissions and the 47A manual transmission would be the shifter lever knobs and some of the bolts.

As I undertsand it, the 3T and 4t D7's had the same engine, give or take a couple of minor mods for military requirements on the 4T's which were the military version of the 3T. Most of the variations on the 4T's were transmission-related or electrical. Basically, you should be able to take a complete engine or pretty much any part and swap it from one to the other without a problem.

Hope this helps.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
