Can someone please confirm if this 3306 came out of a 977L track loader? It’s currently sitting in a 977L track loader and I am not certain if it is original to this machine because the SN plate is missing. The only SN I see is stamped on the block. I also don’t see a SN plate in the rear of the machine. I think it is covered by counterweights. If this SN range is valid for the 977L, is there a way to determine the engine arrangement from the SN? Also, curious what year 977L this is if that can be determined by engine SN. Thanks in advance!

Thank you. Is it possible to determine the engine arrangement number from this SN?

Not that I'm aware of. There can be many engine arrangements for an engine s/n.

Based on a little research, I think my 977L SN range is between the range of 11K5051 and 11K7762. If someone has a 977L in this range, could you please post a picture of your SN plate? I would like to see what the engine arrangement number is. Thanks in advance!
