Hello I am making this post for my husband.
He had a very kind viewer mention a fix for the issues on the RD4. It involves a 2B0399 pre combustion chamber tamping tool. He would like to make one or buy one. Pictures of one would be great. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jolene
if some one had the dimensions it would be easy to have one turned on a lathe out of some tool steel
"i reject your reality and substitute my own" - adam savage. i suspect my final words maybe "well shit, that didnt work"
instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
If he has the precombustion chamber, he can measure the dimensions he needs. The key dimensions are the pilot diameter (the part that fits inside the chamber as in the picture - it should be a snug, hand-fit), the pilot depth, and the driving diameter which would be the same as the outer diameter of the chamber less a couple of thousandths . Judging by the picture, I'd estimate the dimensions as approx. 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 1/4 inch
Thank you, this is exactly what he needed.
