OK, what is a good easily found source of the " low force" springs inside the bottom rad for the hand cranks... aftermarket is ok,,, must be the same as a garage door spring or something else common... please advise i need 3, will cut to length myself... Dave 920-210-2875

Hi Dave,
When I get the radiator pulled off my parts machine I'll send you the set off of that one.

hi scott, i have several bad sets of springs for these, it seems they get full of crud and rust out... would be surprised if yours are in good condition,,, but one never knows...

I found a source of the diaphragms at then and now automotive, as you suggested, will call them this weekend with an order, suppose i should order three sets ( for 2 alum pumps and one brass one) like $ 37. each plus freight, hope freight for three is not times three. Thanks for the replies,,, Dave in wisconsin

Yes Jim Zimmermans repro cranks are awesome, and well worth the price, I just got one a few months ago from him. Next, I will be hitting brewzer up for springs too. Good luck Dave P in wisconsin

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
