Olsens gaskets told me that this seal is cork/neoprene 1/4" thick, glued on one side and sliding on the other.... Anyways, the stuff that thick is hard to find ( for me at least) Finally found a place to sell me a 3' X 3' sheet X 1/4" thick for $89.00.... Is that about a right price or is there a better place less costly that someone has used to buy the material to make their own..??? thought i could get a sheet of the stuff and make the 6 circles i need and still have enough for a valve cover gasket... inexpensively ....But maybe i will be better off with Olsens after all??? what do you think ???... its not to late to go either way with my order... I am thinking for some reason that olsens did not have the final seal gasket i needed, or didnt separate out each individual gasket for the final... Think it was like $250 for a set... Ideas please...Dave p

Find a local place that cuts gaskets, they usually have remnants that they will sell much cheaper.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
