Very nice, thanks for posting those photos. For mags, one thing I found is that beyond the usual points and condensor, another thing that contributes to a weak spark particularly at low rpm as would occur during cranking is a weak magnet. This is more evident on magnetos with rotor magnets as they don't have a lot of mass to start with. I bought a couple of neodymium magnets and made a contraption to charge my buddy's Wico rotor which barely sparked at cranking speed on his D2 but now it's good. What's your general location?
