I’m looking for a good D6D, I found this 1984 D6D. Can you offer your opinions and advice on these machines?
My last dozer was a D6C that I regret selling.

D6D's are good machines and that looks like a fine example. I'm a little leery of those extra wide tracks though as they tend to be hard on undercarriage. What I can see in the pictures looks good though.

Since you asked, that looks to be a nice tractor, but I would much rather have a D6C. Much more user friendly in this old operators opinion.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
