With all the stores ( walmart, tractor supply- etc) now coming up with and carrying hydraulic/transmission oils/fluids does any one have any recommendations for a good one to use on a 1969 D7E power shift. I have read some old posts the ones where 5 years old wondered if anything has changed? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Brett

Use a 30W oil to TDTO-2 specs at least, don't even look at a multi-grade for a powershift transmission.

That's the best, it was up to the later Cat spec of TDTO-4 but may be even better now.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
