Hello Everyone!

My name is Jim and I live in Vancouver WA. right across the river from Portland OR. I just purchased this old 1960 933F. She has been used very hard in her days. I am not sure where she started out, but she ended up in a scrap steel yard pushing piles of metal around. She is dented and scratched up pretty bad. She starts right up and seems to run okay. I purchased for 2500.00, and paid a guy 200 to haul it to my driveway. I figure is worth that much in scrap metal if everything goes south, or I'll part it out to some of you guys. As I said above, she's pretty rough but should do the job I need done here.

There was a broken hydraulic line under the seat and I paid 200 to have a new one built, which I am sure is probably 100 too much. With that being said the hydraulic tank filler cap was missing and here in the pacific north west with all its rain the whole hydraulics system is contaminated and when drained looks like a 10 gallon milkshake. My question is, how will I ever get this whole hydraulic system flushed well enough that its not damaging anything when I start a clearing job on my property this summer? I'll post photos of Miss Citty below.

Hello and welcome! Looks like a decent loader, but looks like it has broken right ankle [idler support]. As far as the oil just but the cheapest hyd oil you can find and keep running for awhile and changing it until it looks good and clean. I would not run it anymore until that ankle is healed though, lol

Yep! that hanger is supposed to be down beside the track frame under a welded hanger on the frame. Do you have a parts book? Might be one on ebay.

It looks like the recoil spring is fixin to come out and the idler yoke and push rod are bent. you better get some help with that spring.
When you put the track back on put it on the right way.

The bracket bearing can't going out from the frame or the bottom bracket bearing is broken or the frame brooked and the adjustement rod and spring look like brooked

This piece is actually bent down a couple of inches and out away from the track idler wheel an inch. The little block is still welded onto the tube. I have a plan for getting it straightened out. It's one of the first things I planned on fixing, but the broken hydraulic line came first. Thanks for all your help and advice. I am sure as I progress with the project that I will have many more questions. I am glad I found this site. I also see there is a local chapter in the Salem OR area.

The only book I have is the original service manual that came with the thing when it was new.
