I'm curious to know who sold you a conversion starter and template with no center location? Is the 8U dry clutch or an oil clutch conversion?

Old Magnet sir, you come highly regarded as one of the countries most knowledgeable individuals on CAT equipment and an expert on the matter I am currently dealing with, the drilling and tapping for a starter that is. . I purchased the starter from C C Battery Co. out of Corpus Cristi, TX, they were within driving distance. I talked to the rep before i made the trip, he assured he had a template. This is what he gave me, no idea how to find the center. Thank you for your time.

I bought it from the widow of a local man that used to rent equip and clear land. It cost me $500, I feel it deserves to come alive again. More than anything, I want a basspond on my property! Thank you for any knowledge!

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
