Well my Dad went and picked up the Cat today, it was a really good find been sitting in a barn for 15 years , It has really good undercarriage and the pony motor runs great! just gotta get the main engine running ,Dad used the pony motor to drive it up on the trailer.I think the main engine just needs bleed, I will get it going in a few days. Well anyways I gave 1800 dollars for this dozer and I cant believe it !! It has all the original sheet metal , the hood was off in the pics. it has hydraulics to the rear and at one time had a backhoe on the rear, I am now the Third owner of this machine! Everyone tell me what ya think about this machine. Thanks Mark

looks like it has not seen much hard work, the bell cranks and frames appear to be original, straight and and not covered in welds.

For that money, it is a bargain no matter what's wrong with the main.

Hey I got a really good deal, I found it in Sheridan Indiana, I live in Greencastle Indiana so it wasnt to far from the house. Thats what me and my dad thought it hadnt seen much work. I am currently in Afghanistan working with the Army so my dad has been doing all the work for me, He is going to check it all out today and see whats going on with the Main engine. Next thing will be build ROPS for it . I will keep everyone posted on how it turns out!!! Thanks for looking

Hi, Mark32.
Good catch, M8. It looks pretty straight from 10,000 miles away. It also looks like sombody has 'borrowed' a Cletrac seat and fitted it somewhere in past.

Just my 0.2. Thanks for sharing.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Congrats on your new find. Curious what trailer / truck you used to pull that home with and how far-

My truck is a 2002 F-350 crewcab 7.3l 4x4 with 6 speed manual, trailer is a H&H 20+5 14000lb gooseneck. I think it was 98 miles from where he picked it up in sheridan IN, took it to his place in spencer IN. Hope that answers your question.

Yep-looking for a set up to move mine with. We have a small farm about 80 miles away I'd like to take it to a couple times a year.

Thanks-
