1929 Cat model 20 idler specs.

Do not have a sn. prefix, but a customer called wanting to know the idler tread depth from the top of the idler's center frog to the tread surface on a 1929 Caterpillar model 20. He is looking at welding up the tread surfaces. Thanks in advance for any assistance on this.
