Oilcan47, there’s very little rust. A lot of two tone old yellow and gray primer though. The biggest drawback was someone cut the gas tank and put a smaller one in it, but that’s a simple patch job with some sheet metal.
It looked like a great tractor in the auction pictures. I was very tempted to bid on it but did not want to make the trip to California at this time. Congratulations on the purchase.
Well I thank you for not bidding lol. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but I know that I’ll probably never run across this kind of tractor in this condition again. And I can’t compete with the big names who can write a huge check and not blink. Or get tractors helicoptered out of the mountains. For a small time collector, I’m very fortunate to have come across it.
