I think it's earlier than a 18/19A. My 19 A parts manual shows two main air cleaners mounted side by side.
Single oil bath air cleaners were used on 18a1 to 2166 and 19a1 to 1585. Twin dry air cleaners were used from 18a 2167 and 19a 1586 to end of production. Field conversion kits were available to replace the single oil air cleaners with twin dry one.

thanks for the info I knew you guys could help me out. I sure do like the looks of that D9 you posted Gary looks a lot like a D7 hood and I always loved the look of the D7 hoods how the taper back to the operator. has anyone else heard the about a D9 with a single hyd cylinder just like what Euclid ran I have heard they made a small run of them with the hard nose were first coming out? or was it a conversion from the cable blades and just used the shive mounting?
