Was within half an hour of getting brush windrowed and the left track derailed. Was on a bit of a sidehill. It's off on all but the sprocket. The sprocket also looks chewed on. Any advice for getting it back on and operating correctly?(so as not to happen again) Thanks

There are posts from the past were this is covered in depth(always hard for me to not get side tracked because I never pick the right key words). But the basics, loosen the track adjuster, us blade or jacks get to the track frame off the dirt,if still on the sprocket pull chain to the front and pry over the idler, adjust the track to tightness and away you go.Much easier said than done.Remember it is all heavy and if on hill it all goes down hill. Keeping the chain tight helps, rock guards also help keep tracks on.If the chain has to much ware on hillsides you will have problems until you replace it.Over time you will learn to listen for the chain climbing the rollers and if you back up at this point they go right back on. Good luck to you. Ray

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
