It is very similar to a 12E with larger tires, turbo and a 14 foot moldboard. The turbo was added to develop more horsepower to offset the increase in moldboard size. It would be a nice acquisition if it is in decent shape.

Hi D2 Cody.
Paso Bob summed it up pretty well. I have never operated one but, by all the reports I have heard, they were/are a good grader. This ar-tickle might give you a few pointers on what to look for if you decide to go and inspect it.

Just my 0.02. Hope it helps.
Hi D2 Cody,
I think they ran the blade lift planetry gearboxes up the front of the grader frame. If so, the are similar to the 14 E. Last one I played with they were very hard to gears for, I have seen the gears break in them.
Have a GOOD look around the gearbox case for any cracks, particularly around the intermediate pinion shaft bearing holders that drives the bullgear.
