Posting the flyer for Plow Days: October 3,4 and 5 at the Dry Creek Ranch at Rio. Linda, CA (North edge of Sacramento, CA)

Bring a machine to play in the dirt and an implement as well. If you bring yourselves, I’m sure you can eat some dirt and suck up some exhaust fumes from machines owned by others.

Lots of fun. If we could get a good head count ahead of time, Chapter 15 might host another catered lunch for everyone.

On another note, the following weekend is another event called “Tractor Fest” which will be held at Micke Grove Park in Lodi, CA.

I will see what it entails to display some iron there as well.Normally this event conflicts with the plow event, but not this year!

See you somewhere. JM

The applications are open for tractor fest already I believe. The museum asks you to be a member and for some basic information about your tractor so they can print out signs. The event is geared towards children experiencing tractors running and moving at the museum but of course also tons of fun for the people displaying as well. I am going to try and bring a few of mine this year as it looks like harvest will be done early this year.

Yes, thanks for that information. Our chapter would like to sponsor the event, but we wondered if they would allow a blanket display from members, rather than each one becoming a member of their museum. I offered a refurbished TD9 orchard rig on a "Loan Basis" and they declined, wanting it donated instead.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
